Their hygienists would confirm a shift and then cancel it after we confirmed our patients,, happened over and over and management doesn't really care. Good luck to you dentists using this company.

This is the third time we’ve used this company, and for the third time a hygienist has no-showed the day of the shift. The amount of stress this puts on doctors, staff, and patients is unbelievable. A same-day no-show can throw an entire schedule into chaos. What’s most frustrating is that there doesn’t seem to be any real accountability. If providers can repeatedly no-show and simply pick up another shift elsewhere, where is the incentive to be reliable? Based on our experience, I can’t recommend trusting this app to staff your dental practice. We’ve given it multiple chances, and unfortunately it’s been the same result too many times.

They allow offices to charge scheduled hours or lunches the day of but will penalize you if you cancel the shift. The clinicians are not protected. When I reached out to support I was told to confront the office myself or adjust the hours which delays your pay.

Dentists, I would strongly encourage you to carefully evaluate GoTu's recruiting services before committing to them. My experience was very disappointing. I paid approximately $6,000 upfront for help recruiting a dental hygienist, one of the most difficult positions to fill in today's market. Because I urgently needed a hygienist, I was willing to invest in a recruiting service that claimed to have strong connections and access to qualified candidates. Unfortunately, the results did not justify the cost. The candidates presented to my office were not a good fit, and only one completed a working interview. Ultimately, I was unable to hire any candidate sourced through the service. What was most frustrating is that, at the conclusion of the campaign, much of the feedback seemed to focus on reasons candidates were not interested in the position, including commute distance, compensation expectations, and perceptions of the practice. However, during the same period, I independently hired two excellent hygienists for an hourly rate much less than GoTu's recommended starting rate and both commute about 30 minutes each way. In the end, I successfully filled both positions on my own and did not hire a single candidate through GoTu. While every practice's experience may differ, I regret spending the $6,000 and would not use this recruiting service again. I hope this review helps other dentists make an informed decision before investing in a similar recruiting campaign.

I am extremely disappointed with this temp staffing service. We have had three hygienists cancel shifts through their platform, with the most recent cancellation occurring the afternoon before a scheduled shift. We had patients booked starting at 8:00 AM and were left scrambling at the last minute with no reliable replacement. A dental practice cannot operate effectively when staffing commitments are treated so casually. Patients depend on us, and we depend on staffing services to provide dependable professionals. The company's cancellation policy appears far too lenient, allowing last-minute cancellations that create significant disruptions for practices and patients alike. If you are looking for a trustworthy temporary staffing partner, I would be very cautious. Based on our experience, this service has not provided the reliability needed to run a professional healthcare practice.

Absolutely terrible experience with the Gotu app for dental staffing. This platform completely failed when reliability was needed the most. I had a hygienist no-show, which threw off my entire schedule, wasted patient time, and completely disrupted my day. What makes it worse is the customer service. There is basically no real support or accountability. You reach out expecting answers or solutions, and you get nothing useful back—just vague responses and zero urgency. It honestly feels like they don’t care at all once something goes wrong. For a service intended to help dental offices stay fully staffed and running smoothly, this is unacceptable. Reliability is the whole point, and they failed at the most basic level. No-show staff combined with useless customer service is a disaster for any practice trying to operate professionally. Would not recommend at all. Completely unreliable and a waste of time when it matters most.

I would give them 0 start if any available. Tempmee was more reliable and easy to work with . I’ve been trying to get shift for a month and no luck . Your status keep pending and rejected with no reason . Been a professional for more than 20 years is ridiculous trying to be dealing with that type of situation however again like a mention when it was Tempmee I never had any problems. Also customer service is negligence and does not return callas and been waiting for text messages come back for over 24 h . Not available when you needed it . I feel very disappointed lately with this company. If they don’t have dental professionals staffing company does not exist . Simple .

Very frustrated with the customer service coming from a dental provider office. Feel like the policies they put in place do not help out the dentist providers at all. Will no longer be using this app. Had many Hygienist canceled on us last minute, which I understand things like that happen but when I had to cancel a Hygienist, they refused to waive the cancellation fee. I was very vocal that I feel like they don’t take the side of the dentist office. I spend so much time going back and forth and everyone was just repeating the same thing. I just switched to clipboard and find that more useful.
